DESCRIPTION:Nella giornata di apertura del Festival dello Sviluppo Sostenibile 2023 l’Università di Roma Tor Vergata dà vita ad un incontro sul tema “Deforestazione e cambiamenti climatici”. Il seminario intende affrontare uno dei fenomeni più sottovalutati alla base dei cambiamenti climatici\, la deforestazione. L’eccessivo abbattimento degli alberi non comporta solo un aumento della produzione di CO2\, ma anche un aumento notevole del rischio di frane\, alluvioni e smottamenti del terreno\, oltre che enormi danni alla biodiversità.
